    Information / special.
Today, Thursday, the economic expert, Abd al-Rahman al-Mashhadani, explained the extent to which the Iraqi government could find alternatives to exporting the oil of the Kurdistan region instead of the Turkish Ceyhan line, while the continuation of oil export through the southern outlets is "much better" than the Ceyhan line.

Al-Mashhadani said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, that "the Iraqi government is able to find alternatives to export the oil of the Kurdistan region instead of Turkey, because Iraq, in light of its commitment to the OPEC Plus agreement, did not reach the specified ceiling, which is approximately 3,600,000 barrels per day."
He added, "Iraq is currently exporting 3,340,000 barrels from the south, and is able to increase this amount from the southern outlets," pointing out that "exporting 400,000 barrels of Kurdistan oil through the Ceyhan pipeline will lead to a reduction in oil exports through the southern outlets."
The economist explained, "This step will increase the financial losses, given that the costs of oil production are in the south and there are no transportation costs, but Turkey is calling for an increase in the commission and traffic rates, in addition to the high costs of carrier companies, and the demand for more than 13 dollars per barrel of oil." the one".
Al-Mashhadani said, "Kurdistan's oil is sold at much lower prices compared to Basra's oil," adding, "From an economic point of view, continuing to export oil through the southern outlets, especially Basra, is much better than returning to the Turkish Ceyhan pipeline under the conditions that Ankara recently set."
Earlier, the economist, Nabil Al-Marsoumi, revealed that Turkey had set six “incapacitating” conditions for re-exporting Iraqi oil, while stressing that Ankara was calling for stopping the clearing of Baghdad and Tehran.
Ankara began using all possible papers to harm the Iraqi economy and export its oil through the Turkish port of Ceyhan, in addition to its failure to pay the fine imposed on it by international courts, after Iraq won an international lawsuit due to the illegality of its receipt of the oil of the Kurdistan region.
