    Economy News - Baghdad
Reuters reported, quoting informed sources, on Tuesday, that the Iraqi and Turkish oil ministers did not reach an agreement to resume oil exports from northern Iraq.
The agency added that the two ministers agreed to hold further talks in the future.
It is noteworthy that Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani arrived, yesterday, Monday, in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
Today, Tuesday, Abdul-Ghani met with the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alp Arslan Bayraktar.
The two parties discussed "a number of bilateral and regional issues of common concern," and stressed "the importance of the crude oil pipeline between Iraq and Turkey, and the resumption of crude oil flows, after the completion of the necessary rehabilitation and examination processes that are required to be implemented after the earthquake incident last February," according to Statement by the Ministry of Oil.
