     Information/Baghdad..
The head of the Parliamentary Rights Bloc, Saud Al-Saadi, called on the government to expedite the formation of a negotiating delegation with Kuwait to conclude the Khor Abdullah agreement, indicating that Kuwait took the first step to embarrass Baghdad into retracting the federal decision.
Al-Saadi said in a televised interview followed by “Al-Maalouma” that “Iraq must put its papers in order and reconstitute legal, technical and political negotiating committees under supervisory supervision.”
He added, "Opening the issue of the Khor Abdullah Agreement is an opportunity to restore Iraq's usurped rights, whether land or water, as it is a sovereign issue related to the future of Iraq and its people."
He pointed out that "in the event that an agreement is not reached between Iraq and Kuwait regarding the matter, resort will be made to the Court of the High Seas in accordance with Article 14 of the Khor Abdullah Agreement, as these courts are based on international laws, and these laws are consistent with the Iraqi interest due to the presence of flagrant Kuwaiti violations of the agreement."
Political advisor to the Prime Minister, Sobhan Mulla Jiyad, affirmed the government’s commitment to implementing the decision of the Federal Supreme Court regarding maritime navigation with Kuwait and dividing the borders. End 25
