On Sunday, a member of the State of Law coalition, Saad Al-Muttalabi, considered the visit of Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi to Ankara and his meeting with Turkish President Erdogan in order to obtain the latter’s support and support as the Sunni arena of rejection of him expands.

Al-Muttalabi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The visit of Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi to Ankara is certainly an unofficial visit,” pointing out that “the visit can be interpreted in order to obtain support and support for Erdogan after Al-Halbousi was convinced that the arena of Sunni rejection was expanding and was threatening his seat to head the Council.” Representatives.
He added, "Reading the reality of the Sunni arena indicates that there is disintegration among the Sunni political forces. Therefore, Muhammad al-Halbousi took advantage of the state of disintegration and asked the Turkish president to intervene to unify the Sunni political forces under his leadership."
Al-Muttalabi pointed out that “the policy of Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, is the real reason behind the disintegration of the unity of the Sunni political forces.”
He pointed out that "those forces will certainly continue to reject Al-Halbousi at the head of the Sunni leadership, regardless of the pressures and stripping him of his decision-making power."
It is noteworthy that Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, met with the President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, yesterday evening, Saturday, in Ankara in a surprise visit. Ended / 25 AD
