The Foundation for Political Prisoners decided, today, Tuesday, to disburse 30% of the total grant.
A statement from the institution received by Mawazine News said, “The opinion committee of the Political Prisoners Foundation met under the chairmanship of Hussein Al-Sultani and the membership of the general directors and discussed the mechanism for distributing the compensatory grant to political prisoners and detainees and took a decision to distribute financial grants to everyone at a rate not exceeding 30% of their total grant.”
The corporation's spokesman, Jabbar Mowat Kassar, pointed out that "this decision will begin at the beginning of next month, and the distribution from the lowest to the highest will be harmful."
