Statement: Some social media sites reported that some election candidates were exploiting the social protection file, for the purpose of achieving electoral gains by deceiving the beneficiaries by showing their names in the sixth meal, which was launched by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Assadi.
The Ministry indicates that some candidates are exploiting the Madalati platform, as well as the names that are announced on the Ministry’s website, and are contacting citizens for the purpose of exploiting them. Thus, the Ministry will suspend the platform until after the elections are held.
The Ministry also confirms that it will approach the Election Commission regarding the behavior of some candidates to take legal measures against them.
The Ministry of Labor calls on all citizens to follow and receive news and information through the Ministry’s website and its official pages on social media sites. Media Center at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs
