    The Baghdad Municipality opened 3 new parks next to Rusafa in the capital as part of a campaign to increase green spaces in response to the directives of the Prime Minister.
    A statement from the secretariat, received by Al-Eqtisad News, stated, “Municipal departments continue to implement the campaign launched by the Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa Kazem, which aims to increase green areas and transform abandoned and empty spaces into lush parks and gardens that will be a rest and entertainment station for Baghdad families in response to the directives of the Prime Minister.”
    The statement added, “Al-Ghadir Municipality Department opened the Jasmine Park with an area of ​​7 dunams after completing its rehabilitation, maintaining the fountains, and installing children’s toys, lighting poles, and terraces, making it one of the most beautiful parks next to Al-Rusafa.”
    The secretariat continued, “The First Sadr Municipality Department also opened Al-Aqsa Park with an area of ​​6 dunams within the entrance to Sadr City from the canal side, transforming the area from abandoned squares and a hotbed of rubble and waste into one of the most beautiful parks that includes, in addition to green areas, lighting works, ornamental flyers, rest areas, terraces, and children’s games.” ".
    She pointed out, "The People's Municipality Department also opened Ur Park, with an area of ​​3 dunams, divided into two sides, the first a special play site for children, and the other a park that includes green spaces, trees, a fountain, lighting works, and seating and resting terraces."
