    Shafaq News/ Today, Sunday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani approved the resignation of Nineveh Governor Najm Abdullah Abdul-Jubouri.
    A statement issued by Al-Sudani's office stated that Al-Jubouri submitted his resignation after the House of Representatives rejected the recommendation approved by the Council of Ministers last October 17, excluding him from accountability and justice procedures, based on the provisions of Article (12) of the National Accountability and Justice Authority Law No. (10). For the year 2010.
    The statement added that during his meeting with Al-Jubouri, Al-Sudani expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts he made while performing his executive duties over the past years.
    The Governor of Nineveh, Najm al-Jubouri, submitted his resignation from his position to Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, calling on him to accept it and appoint another person to run the local government in his place, according to official documents appended with his signature.
