    On Thursday, Minister of Labor Ahmed Al-Asadi explained the mechanism used to combat multidimensional poverty, and while he revealed a tendency to continue the loan granting campaign and plans to expand the process of employing the unemployed within the mechanism of improving living conditions, he confirmed that the process of issuing cards to those newly covered by the aid will resume, pointing out that the research campaign The upcoming will remove tens of thousands of people who exceed the subsidy salaries.
    Al-Asadi said, in a statement reported by the official news agency and viewed by Al-Iqtisad News, that “since we took office, we began implementing the ministerial curriculum and the government program and launched a major social research campaign on the 15th of last January to include all the poorest areas, where we started with 20 districts.” Then we expanded to 57 other districts,” indicating that “the search campaign included all neighborhoods, districts, districts, villages, and kasbahs, as well as some scattered homes deep in the desert.”
    He added, “We then began a research campaign that included more than two million families,” noting that “the number of Qi cards issued to those included amounted to 900,000 out of the total that was searched, with 300,000 included from food security allocations and 600,000 within the government program.” ".
    He stated, “We have implemented the government program 100 percent and were able to reach the necessary aid provided by the state to most of its beneficiaries, and it will reach all of its beneficiaries,” pointing out that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed during his recent visit to the ministry building that the government’s priorities are five, including the work of the Ministry.” Work to fight poverty, confront unemployment, and employ the unemployed.”
    Al-Asadi stressed, “Fighting multidimensional poverty does not only involve disbursing financial aid, but also includes allocating an additional ration to all families covered by social care, as seven million individuals, or two million and 151 thousand families, were included in the double share, and the Ministry of Commerce distributed it by providing a base.” Data from the Ministry of Labor, to date, there are approximately 60 million food rations for those covered.”
    He pointed out that "the budget law includes the disbursement of the student grant, which helps needy families send their children to school, at the rate of 30 thousand dinars for primary students, 50 thousand dinars for middle and middle school students, 100 thousand dinars for bachelor's degrees, and 150 thousand dinars for postgraduate studies (master's and doctorate), with social welfare beneficiaries included in social security." This is in terms of fighting multidimensional poverty.”
    Regarding improving the lives of beneficiaries of social protection, Al-Asadi stressed that “the Ministry of Labor has initiated courses by the Department of Labor and Vocational Training for tens of thousands of young people, those wishing to work and the unemployed. These courses have graduated thousands of people who have begun working in many companies, factories, laboratories and projects.” Investment.
    He pointed out, "There are plans to expand the circle of training and employment of the unemployed," explaining, "The Ministry began a campaign to grant loans after amending the lending law, and the value of the loans ranged between 20-30-50 million dinars to implement real projects."
    He stated, "A month ago we announced the launch of the Rizq campaign, which includes granting 25 percent of loans to those covered by social welfare in order to remove them from the social welfare program and enter them into the labor market."
    He stated, “During the start of the major social research campaign, we launched a form that included questions, not only about the economic situation, but information related to the social situation, the educational situation, the health situation, and the services available in the region where the applicant resides,” pointing out that “all this information is provided to the The Ministry of Planning and the relevant departments to benefit from it in addressing these gaps.”
    He stated, "During our tours in the governorates, we met directly with thousands of citizens and they told us that they had heard about social care, but the state had not reached them in the past. However, this year the state was able to reach all of these families."
    Regarding the decision to stop issuing cards to beneficiaries, Al-Asadi said, “In accordance with the budget law and the decisions of the Ministry of Finance, the issuance of cards will stop after the 30th of last November, and will resume at the beginning of next year.”
    On the other hand, he stressed, "The halting of the search process came about because some candidates, their office managers, or those promoting election campaigns made unreal promises to citizens that they would be included in the subsidy. Therefore, we stopped the search to prevent exploitation, and that it will resume after the local elections scheduled for December 18 of this month."
    Al-Asadi pointed out that "the Ministry included all regions, districts, districts, neighborhoods, and districts in the campaign, and the next campaign will focus on two issues: the first is the completion of 10% of those included in the research after completing 90%, and the second is the continuation of the process due to the presence of tens of thousands of defaulters who are still receiving the social welfare salary."
    He pointed out, "In the last campaign, which lasted for several months, more than 190,000 transgressors were detected. The subsidy was stopped and the money that had been paid in person, amounting to 57 billion, was recovered. There are more than 100 billion that we began to distribute in installments to the transgressors."
    He stated, "The next research campaign that will be launched at the beginning of the new year will remove tens of thousands of violators of the protection network."
