A member of the State of Law coalition, Rasoul Radi, confirmed that the government has the ability to implement the parliament’s decision regarding the removal of American forces from Iraq.
Radi said in an interview followed by Mawazine News: “America defends the interests of the Zionist entity before its own interests and targets the Popular Mobilization Forces and kills its leaders.”
He added, "America has roots in Iraq, and there is support from internal parties for its forces to remain in the country, and the terms of the strategic agreement in 2011 stipulated the exit of American forces from Iraq and the prevention of their return."
He pointed out that "the Prime Minister must demand that the UN Security Council remove American forces from Iraq at a time when we need a supportive position from Parliament and the government in order to remove American forces from Iraq."
