The Iraqi capital, Baghdad, ranked last on the list of the safest cities for travel, out of 300 cities around the world, while an Arab city topped these 300 cities around the world. In fact, 6 Arab cities are among the 10 safest cities in the world.

The safest cities in the world for travel are measured according to their low crime rates, making them ideal for tourists and residents. Strong police, security measures, and stable governments also contribute to achieving high levels of safety in these safe cities.

Abu Dhabi was ranked the safest city in the world for the year 2024, according to SeaWorld magazine, with a total safety score of 97.73. Taipei ranked second, followed by Doha in third place, and Ajman, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Muscat, The Hague, Bern, and Munich completed the positions. The top ten, which means that 6 Arab cities, including 4 in the Emirates, were among the 10 safest cities in the world.

As for Baghdad, it ranked 264 globally out of 300 cities around the world on the safety list, with a total safety score of 57.77, out of 100 points.
