Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, today, Thursday, praised the role of parliamentary committees in activating the oversight role of Parliament.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement received by Mawazine News: “Al-Mandlawi appreciated the efforts of the parliamentary committees that are working to activate the supervisory role of the Council by continuing to host executive officials in various ministries and government institutions and diagnosing and correcting the negatives.”
He pointed out that "special mention goes to the Parliamentary Electricity and Energy Committee and its hosting of officials in the Ministry of Electricity."
