    Information / Baghdad..
The Parliamentary Services Committee confirmed, today, Saturday, that the law on slums and squatters will see the light during the current parliamentary session.
Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Services Committee, Daoud Al-Eidan, told Al-Maalouma, “The law will protect more than 4 million citizens who live in slums.”
He added, "The government's approach is to own the slums for their occupants and provide them with the best services."
He added, “The slum law is in the corridors of the government, and we expect it to be sent soon to the House of Representatives to speed up voting on it.”
He added, “There are draft service laws that will see the light, most notably slums, encroachments, and land sorting, as there is a parliamentary consensus to pass these laws during the parliamentary session.” Current". Ended / 25 h
