    [rtl]Today, Friday, the Ministry of Commerce set the date for receiving the first quantities of marketed wheat from Basra Governorate, while announcing the presence of one million and 800 thousand tons in warehouses. It indicated that the Prime Minister directed that financial benefits be secured for farmers.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Director General of the General Company for Grain Trade, Haider Nouri, said in an interview followed by Al-Eqtisad News, “The Ministry has begun the wheat marketing season and has 1,800,000 tons of wheat marketed in its stores last year,” noting that “the Ministry will begin next week.” By receiving the first quantity of marketed wheat from Basra Governorate, that is, immediately after Eid.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]He added, "The Ministry is on the verge of a better season than the last season, especially with regard to the issue of distributing financial sums to farmers," noting that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, during a recent meeting held to discuss the marketing season, stressed the Minister of Finance to allocate sums of money at the beginning of the season and distribute them to "Farmers first and foremost to continue the success of last year's season."[/rtl]
