Shafaq News/ On Tuesday, 10 Iraqi cities recorded among the regions with the highest average temperatures in the world during the past 24 hours.
The Placerville station in California, USA, published a table of 15 global regions and cities that recorded the highest temperatures in the world during the last 24 hours.
The table showed that the city of Umedia in Iran recorded the highest temperature in the world, at 51 degrees Celsius, followed in second place by Amara in Iraq, with 50 degrees Celsius, followed in third place by “Arafat” in Saudi Arabia, with 50 degrees Celsius, and then came the city of “Nasiriyah” in Iraq came fourth with a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius, and the city of “Basra Al-Hussein” in Iraq came fifth with a temperature of 49.5 degrees Celsius.
Also according to the table, the city of “Karbala” in Iraq came sixth with a temperature of 49.5 degrees Celsius, and the city of “Abadan” in Iran came seventh with a temperature of 49.4 degrees Celsius, then the city of “Najaf Al-Ashraf” in Iraq came eighth with a temperature of 49.2. degrees, and the city of Safi Abad Dezful in Iran came ninth with a temperature of 49.1 degrees Celsius.
The "Mina" region in Saudi Arabia ranked tenth with a temperature of 49 degrees Celsius, followed by the city of "Al-Faw" in Iraq in 11th place with a temperature of 48.9 degrees Celsius, and the city of "Samawah" in Iraq came in 12th place with a temperature of 48.9 degrees Celsius, and the "Mina" region in Iraq came in 12th place with a temperature of 48.9 degrees Celsius. Al-Rifai” in Iraq ranked 13th with a temperature of 48.8 degrees Celsius, followed by the “Basra International Airport” area in Iraq in 14th place with a temperature of 48.7 degrees Celsius, followed by the “Badra” region in Iraq in last place with a temperature of 48.6 degrees Celsius.
