Dhi Qar Governor Murtada Abboud Al-Ibrahimi revealed today, Wednesday, the number of projects referred and awaiting approval, while identifying 4 files that he described as "important" awaiting solutions.
The governor said in a speech he delivered during his attendance at the provincial council session, which was followed by Mawazine News, that "coordinating cooperation between the council and the governorate comes with the aim of overcoming challenges and creating integration in services and achieving the aspirations of the people of Dhi Qar, for a better future for the city center, its districts and sub-districts, stressing the importance of establishing the principle of cooperation and coordination between the council and the governorate."
He added, "We are working in the governorate and its council to change the reality of the cities and our work is participatory with the aim of serving the community and raising the level of services provided to citizens, indicating that the number of referred projects is 107 projects awaiting approval, and 29 projects in the Ministry of Finance to complete the referral procedures."
The governor assured the council members that "our work is one and our goal is one, which is to provide service to the citizen and accomplish projects that serve the citizen's interest first and foremost," explaining that during the meeting we discussed the necessity of allocating a building for people with disabilities due to the importance of this segment and providing support, care and possible facilities.
He pointed out that "there are important files awaiting solutions, most notably the "file of stalled projects, appointments, the file of land plots, the file of administrative units and department managers."
