The Ministry of Agriculture revealed, on Friday, the volume of its exported products during 6 months, while indicating the export of more than 400 thousand tons of agricultural crops.
The technical undersecretary at the ministry, Mithaq Abdul Hussein, said: "The exported quantities of plant products amounted to (491,100) tons, while the exported quantities of animal products amounted to (30,010) heads, while the exported quantities of fodder amounted to (575,300) tons."
He explained that "the exported quantities included (27) crops, including vegetables and fruits, and (11) crops of legumes, rice and other materials, as well as (6) crops designated for fodder, while the exported animal products included (30) ornamental birds and (10) Saluki dogs."
