Compensation disbursement in Nineveh

The Nineveh local government has begun disbursing the withheld shares of compensation amounts deposited in the governorate’s secretariats for the categories of martyrs’ and injured persons.
Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil told Al-Sabah: The federal government had previously agreed during the past period to disburse the withheld shares of compensation amounts deposited in the governorate’s secretariats for the categories of martyrs’ and injured persons, as all the checks for the amounts were distributed among their beneficiaries.
He added that the branch of the Compensation Committee in the governorate has completed a large number of transactions related to those affected from the residents of Mosul city and its administrative units since the beginning of this year until now, and is continuing to complete the remaining transactions after obtaining the relevant approvals from the competent authorities, while large sums were disbursed to them as a result of the events they suffered from, such as damage to their property, vehicles, and shops that were destroyed by the terrorist ISIS gangs.
