MP Rafiq Al-Salihi confirmed today, Saturday, that the Ministry of Defense failed in its work, while the Prime Minister called for it to be included in the ministerial change.
Al-Salihi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, "The Prime Minister has amendments, but he has not disclosed them yet, and these amendments came to continue the government's work properly."
He added, "There are real and noticeable failures in some ministries and their failure to complete the projects and files under their charge," indicating that "the government program must be implemented in all its steps and the Prime Minister is the one concerned with the ministry and the amendments in it."
He pointed out that "the Ministry of Defense has failed in its work throughout the past period, and the government must work on it accurately and with the correct mechanism."
He pointed out that "Iraq is facing a major challenge, especially since America and Israel have placed Iraq on the map of the Levant, and it is likely that there will be reactions, while calling on the government to work on the security ministries in a greater and more precise manner." End/25
