    Baghdad-East October 10: Search and Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari with a delegation in JPMorgan Sameenara and a number of policies and procedures for the government to cut public expenditure and the financing of the budget deficit, solutions and alternatives that resorted to by the government during the 2015 international investors, to bridge the financial gap According to a statement of the Ministry of Financial Van Zebari assured the delegation and investors Iraq's commitment to international transparency standards and the completion of next year's budget in 2016 in the legal timing, the statement said that the meeting discussed the political, economic and security situation in the country and measures reformist government and its plans to achieve the financial and economic stability.

    LIT, I was wondering the same thing.  And, if so, Iraq wants to meet the IMF standards, etc. and one is to be Art. 8 compliant.  Which would also make Iraq eligible to be a full member of the WTO.

    [ltr] Search Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari, with Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Cevdet Yilmaz Turkish debt owed by Iraq since the former regime, and find a way and mechanisms to resolve them, as he emphasized Iraq's commitment to international standards of transparency and the completion of next year's budget in 2016 in the legal timing.
     The ministry said in a statement received "long" version of it that Zebari discussed with Yilmaz economic and trade relations between the two countries, while the Turkish debt outstanding since the former regime and discussed ways to resolve accordance with the Paris Club mechanism and ensure the rights of both parties. 
    Furthermore, Zebari took part in Lima yesterday, the first Friday in the round table meeting of the Ministers of Finance and Economy on ways to transform the face of the process of climate change. 
    The statement said: "delivered by the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon and a number of Ministers and the President of the World Bank and the Director of the International Monetary Fund and regional development funds words about their contributions to the provision of (100) billion dollars to fund alternative energy sources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for the Conference atheist twenty of the States Parties the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Paris in November-December 2015. "
    The statement added that the Iraqi Minister of Finance pointed out his country's position in this matter that he could not climate conversion in isolation from the conversion of comprehensive and sustainable development and the need to help the oil-producing countries in the management of the emission of greenhouse gas and find a balance between the reduced and the requirements of economic growth and development. 
    Zebari also pointed to the keenness of the government and the support of the UNDP program to prepare a document for the twenty-atheist conference to be held in Paris of States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. 
    In a related context, and on the sidelines of the conference stressed the Minister of Finance of Iraq's commitment to international standards of transparency and the completion of next year's budget in 2016 in the legal timing. 
    And it held a meeting in collaboration with JP Morgan Sameenara about the challenges faced by Iraq financially and security on the sidelines of the International Conference of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in Lima in 2015 ".
    The statement pointed out that "the meeting was attended by dozens of international investors and reviewed the finance minister's political, economic and security situation in the country and the government's reform measures and plans to achieve the financial and economic stability."
    He continued: As "was also review policies and procedures for the government to reduce public expenditures and budget financing, solutions and alternatives that resorted to by the government during the 2015 deficit, to bridge the financial gap."
    Zebari pointed according to the statement to "Iraq's commitment to international standards of transparency and the completion of the budget in 2016, in the legal and temporal timing also accept Iraq's relations with both the Bank and the IMF."
