Flights between Kurdistan Region, Georgia inaugurated

Erbil (NINA) – First flight from Georgia arrived in Erbil on Sunday, March 24, inaugurating direct air travel between Kurdistan Region and Georgia.
A ceremony was held on the occasion attended by Director of Erbil Airport, Imad al-Ani, Head of Georgia's Civil Aviation, the Head of Georgia Air Lines and Georgia's Tourism Undersecretary.
In a statement on the side of the ceremony, Georgia's Airline's Agent, Lawand Jamal said that two flights between Erbil and Georgia will be a week; and that Iraqi travelers do not need entrance visa to Georgia. / End.
