Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, met with the Advisor of the US Foreign Ministry, Bret Mackork, where they discussed the mutual relations between Baghdad and Washington in addition to the political and security situations in Iraq and the region.
A statement by Mutleg’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Mutleg stressed the necessity of increasing the mutual cooperation according to the security and service pacts between the two sides after 2003.”
“Mackork expressed his hope over achieving political deals that help in sustaining the security and economic stability in Iraq,” the statement concluded.
