    The Egyptian Government is currently negotiating with Iraq for Egyptian companies to deliver gas to homes in Iraq and participate in the work of the infrastructure.
    The President said Egypt gas company Fouad Rashad in a press statement that "intense contacts are under way with the Iraqi oil Ministry, to agree on the company's participation in the reconstruction of Iraq through the implementation of a number of projects the company gas delivery to homes.
    Rashad said "the delegation of Egypt to visit Iraq to study, and see all the data on the agreement, pointing out that the company looked forward to participating in the delivery of natural gas to homes in Iraq and Kurdistan.
    The President said that Egypt gas company Gaz Egypt looking to expand their business through foreign partnered in Libya Abu Dhabi, pointing to Egypt for gas ownership at 49% of the Egyptian-Libyan company for delivery of natural gas to homes.
    Iraq and Egypt signed on last month signed an agreement during the visit of the Egyptian delegation, headed by Prime Minister Hisham jellyfish in Baghdad to the Iraqi side agreed to meet Egyptian demand to provide the Egyptian authority for four million barrels of crude oil per month in Basra by the Iraqi oil marketing company [Sumo].
    Ministry of oil and mineral resources in the 25 of March submitted a formal request to Iraq to reduce the price of a barrel of oil and facilitate payment and is rejected by the Iraqi oil Ministry.
    The agreement between the two countries is activated and the arrival of the first shipment of Iraqi crude to the plants in early may but this did not happen so far shows the constraints in the agreement especially after Iraq refused to lower the price of the barrel and provide facilities in payment from the Egyptian side, according to economists.
    Revealed the Egyptian oil Ministry source on Egypt and Iraq negotiations stumbled on the import of Iraqi crude after Iraq conditions described Egypt as "cruel" to complete the import operation finished.
