He said the parliamentary Finance Committee member Jabbar al-Abadi, said that "the Commission will have a firm position in the event of the imposition of any new taxes on employees," noting that "so far there are no taxes on employees in the 2017 budget."
Ebadi said that he "shall not impose new taxes without the law and according to the information, the original text of the law does not carve out of the budget" and pointed out that "the state is due to the employee and the citizen and the owners of low-income salaries when you fall in financial difficulty and this is not healthy."
The news indicated that "there are new deductions on employees' salaries and will do in the coming months, due to a decline in oil prices."
