[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Informed source from the Sadr Trend revealed that the resignation of the First Deputy Speaker, Qusai al-Sihail from his post was based on the request of the Trend’s leader, Muqtada al-Sadr.[/ltr]
[ltr]The official Iraqia Sat channel has reported this morning that the First Speaker of the parliament resigned his post.[/ltr]
[ltr]The source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Sadr had summoned Sihail some days ago and discussed with him the delay of revealing the corruption files at the parliament.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“Sadr called Sihail, during the meeting, to resign his post,” according to the source.[/ltr]
[ltr]It is worth mentioning that Sadr had commissioned Sihail to follow up the corruption files.[/ltr]
