{Baghdad} Euphrates News said the US ambassador to Baghdad Douglas Silliman, during his visit to the Kurdistan region of his country's support for all components of the Iraqi people and work with non-governmental organizations and international partners to help families.
A statement of the US embassy in Baghdad, the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of it today that " the US ambassador to Iraq , Douglas Silliman left theKurdistan region of Iraq , accompanied by retired Lieutenant Terry Wolff , deputy international coalition special presidential envoy to fight Daesh as well as the Consul General in Erbil Ken Gross" .
He added , "where he met Silliman in separate meetings with both the President ofKurdistan , Massoud Barzani and Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani and theGovernor of Duhok Farhad Aterha to discuss progress in the battle against Daesh and US support for the Peshmerga forces and the situation of the displaced gangs in the region."
The statement continued , "Silliman also praised the sacrifices and courage of thePeshmerga and thanked the leaders for their support of more than one million displaced people and refugees who came to the Kurdistan region of Iraq, urging them to continue the fruitful dialogue between Erbil and Baghdad in order to address the outstanding issues."
He added , "met Silliman during his visit to the Temple of the Yezidi in Walsh with Baba Sheikh and a representative of Prince improve your, and then met with representatives of the Christian community, and listened Ambassador Silliman directly for the atrocities suffered by those who Rzhawwa under Daesh gangs."
The ambassador reaffirmed " the United States ' support for all components of theIraqi people and pledged to work with non - governmental organizations and international partners to assist families to begin to rebuild their lives as soon as possible."
The statement noted that "Silliman also visited camps for displaced people and spoke with residents about their experiences and how to take advantage of US assistance to help the displaced people and find out what can be done to help them to move forward with their lives , " .anthy
