    He said the ministry spokesman, Assem Jihad, said in an interview to the (long - Presse), " The visiting Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Iraq has seen joint research projects , several of which the oil pipeline and gas transportation through the port of Aqaba and cooperation in the field of renewable energy , " noting that " the Minister Iraqi oil, Jabar Luaibi, stressed the need to implement a project of Iraqi oil pipelines through the port of Aqaba to the strategic and economic importance. " 
    The Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ibrahim Saif, has arrived in Baghdad Sunday, the (13 November 2016), on an official visit to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two projects, most notably the Iraqi oil pipeline - Jordan, while Jordanian Ministry of Energy confirmed that the project It will open theway for Iraq to increase its exports to world markets. 
    Jihad said that " the joint committees between the two countries is keen to expedite the resolution of that file with a coalition of companies invested in particular that negotiations about it and reached an advanced stage ," noting that "Iraq and Jordan reached during the visit to the need for a time limit to resolve the development of the project, and agreed on the importance of strengthening relations bilateral between the two countries in the field of oil and energy, and to resume supplying Jordan with quantities of crude oil after the stability of thesecurity situation in the border provinces. " 
    According to a spokesman for the Oil Ministry, he said : " The minister Allaibi, instructed the formation of acommittee to follow up the developments in the pipeline project and report regularly on the progress in this file , " pointing out that " the two ministers also agreed to cooperate in the field of training and exchange ofexpertise in the field of renewable energy and take advantage of Jordanian pilot experience in this field, where it formed joint committees to discuss the possibility of transferring that experience and use them in theservice sectors of Iraq. " 
    Jordan and Iraq signed in ( the ninth of April 2013), the framework to build the pipeline with a length of 1700 km agreement, stretching from Basra to the port of Aqaba, with a capacity of one million barrels per day, and the cost of about $ 18 billion. 
    And it will carry crude oil pipeline from the giant Rumaila field in Basra to export terminals in the port ofAqaba. 
    In a related development , two sources familiar with the matter said that Iraq plans to export 3.153 million barrels per day of Basra crude through the southern ports in December , down slightly from the month. 
    The sources told "Reuters", that "Basra Light crude exports will rise to 2.437 million barrels per day ,according to the initial program load to the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO)." 
    According to exporters it is expected to "Basra heavy crude exports down to 716 thousand barrels a day in December from 900 thousand in November."

    He said traders " the scarcity of Basra crude heavy supply and reasonable price for decades to December may reinforce allowances immediate shipments of crude." on 
    the other hand called on the Committee on energy and oil in the Provincial Council Kirkuk, the Federal oil Ministry to speed up the approval of the offer made by a local company to build a refinery to maintain, for their contribution to the development of oil installations and to provide four thousand jobs for the people ofKirkuk, noting that the refinery will produce 70 thousand barrels per day as a first stage and cost $ 500 million to pay the black oil. 
    said chairman of the Committee, Najat Hussein Hassan, in an interview to the (long - Presse), " theCommittee met with representatives Barham company who made a presentation to the Iraqi Ministry of oil to build a refinery with a capacity of 70 thousand barrels per day, as a first stage to produce kerosene, oil and naphtha as well as black oil , " noting that " the project aims to develop oil projects in Kirkuk , especially the oil Mcefaha suffering from foot units that date back to 1948". 
    The Chairman of the Committee on Energy and oil in Kirkuk 's provincial council, said that "Barham company will build a refinery in favor of the Iraqi refineries company , according to the contract the supply at a cost of$ 500 million paid by the company without any benefits , " noting that "Barham company requesting thepayment of the refinery of black oil output them prices price established by the Federal Ministry of oil because it owns a factory for the production of asphalt used in paving the streets. " 
    Hassan said, " The refinery will be owned by the Ministry of Oil provides about four thousand jobs for thepeople of Kirkuk exclusively , " calling on the Oil Ministry to "speed up the approval of the implementation of the project to serve the oil sector and the citizens of Kirkuk."
