Baghdad and London agree on common working horizons

BAGHDAD / Sabah - Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari and British Ambassador to Baghdad Frank Baker agreed on continuing diplomatic coordination and cooperation and opening more horizons for joint action. "Al-Jaafari received the British ambassador and discussed with him" the most important issues of concern to Baghdad and London, ways of enhancing mutual cooperation, exchanging common interests and confronting common dangers in all fields, "a statement from the Foreign Ministry's press office said. "The two sides reviewed the overall regional and international situation and the efforts exerted to ease the tension and crises in the region, as well as the need for continued coordination and diplomatic cooperation, opening more horizons for joint action and contributing to the reconstruction of Iraqi cities' infrastructure," the statement added.
