Industry intends to export food and construction materials
11/9/2017 12:00 am [rtl]Baghdad / Haider al-Atari The Ministry of Industry and Minerals intends to export food and construction products after obtaining the international ISO certificate and achieving self-sufficiency in the country. "The Ministry, within its plans to support the local product and restore the national industry to its previous stage, prepared a plan for the export of food and construction materials, in particular sugar, oil, fertilizer, urea and cement," said the ministry's media director Luai al-Waeli. It has obtained international ISO certification, and also fills the domestic market need. He added that the ministry has adopted a qualitative approach in production by relying on production lines: German, French and British in order to improve the quality of the product, indicating that it doubled the operational lines that entered service, and reduced the price of the product in the market to meet the needs of low-income. He said that the ministry is keen on the policy of marketing production in coordination with the State Departments to provide them with all the raw materials needed in the projects for construction materials, as well as foodstuffs that compete with imported ones, explaining that filling the need of the local market and achieve self-sufficiency for more Goods and goods require the suspension of imports, the activation of the Tariff Law and the protection of the local product.
