Bitcoin is experiencing one of the biggest successes in history in September due to the beginning of a wave of interest rate cuts around the world, which led to a major shift towards monetary easing in the United States.
Bitcoin, the world’s largest digital asset, has gained more than 10% this month, compared with an average September decline of 5.9% over the past decade, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The smaller cryptocurrency index has surged more than 20%, a sign that easing financial conditions have revived riskier sectors of the cryptocurrency market.
