    Information / Baghdad..
Sanaa Al-Moussawi, the Prime Minister's Advisor for Social Protection Affairs, said today, Saturday, that illegal foreign labor threatens graduates from Iraq.

Al-Moussawi told Al-Maalouma Agency, "Foreign workers are widely spread in the provinces, despite the fact that all officials are working diligently to arrest those who violate residency laws and return them to their countries."
She added, "There are thousands of unlicensed workers who have been arrested in companies, malls and restaurants, and fines have been issued against violators," indicating that "the presence of this large number of workers comes amidst high unemployment in Iraq."
She pointed out that "the government is determined to train young people through (Riyada) and grant them soft loans through the (Professions) platform at the Ministry of Labor."
She added that Iraq does not need foreign labor as much as it needs to empower Iraqi youth and involve them in the private sector. End/25H
