[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ahmed Al-Asadi announced, during his visit to Najaf Governorate today, Saturday, the completion of the procedures for issuing smart cards for 17,074 new families during the opening of schools dedicated to people with special needs.
Al-Asadi explained during the visit a number of procedures, including the completion of the smart card for 13,498 people with disabilities and special needs, the completion of the smart card for diabetic children, amounting to 3,496, and the completion of the smart card for 80 orphans, and they will receive the cash aid next Tuesday, October 1.
He pointed out: "The number of those included in Najaf Governorate has reached more than 110,594 families, and 2,433 new families from Najaf Governorate have been included and the smart card has been issued to more than 1,226 families in Najaf, and they will receive the aid next Tuesday."
He continued: "More than 12,000 social protection beneficiaries have been transferred to the Ministry of Interior, including 998 beneficiaries from Najaf Governorate. Today, the Elia Elementary School for Special Education was opened in Najaf Governorate, the main reception hall for female beneficiaries in the Women's Social Protection Department, the Safe Environment Hall for raising children in the Women's Social Protection Department, electronic inquiries and the central computer room for the Men's Social Protection Department."
The Minister announced the inclusion of all individuals in Elia School in the social protection and full-time assistant allowance. The Minister also directed to take rapid measures to facilitate the granting of loans, calling on citizens to invest in the Retirement and Social Security Law and expedite registration for optional insurance.
The Minister directed the Disability Rights Commission to open more than one new medical committee in the governorate, and to focus on opening new sub-committees for social protection in the governorate. / End9[/rtl]
