    The National Coalition led by Iyad Allawi, on Wednesday, regretted the insistence of some parliamentary forces to pass the members of the new Electoral Commission Council adopted the principle of quotas, describing the parliament's vote as "a stab for reform."

    On Monday, the House of Representatives voted on four lists of candidates for the new electoral commission, and the list (B) received 152 votes out of 176 votes.

    On Tuesday, the civil force accused political forces of adopting a quota approach by passing their candidates on the new electoral commission council, which was voted on by parliament on Monday, and vowed to continue the protests in response to what he called the "false round."
