    The newspaper "New Arab", on Thursday, the outbreak of quarrels and differences between Vice President Nuri al-Maliki and Prime Minister Haider Abadi during a meeting of the Dawa Party held three days ago led to the withdrawal of the latter, noting that the party will split into two wings before the closure of the Electoral Commission registration .
    The newspaper said in a report seen by (information), "Last Monday night witnessed a meeting of the Dawa Party in the presence of all party leaders, including Prime Minister Haider Abadi and former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, at the request of the latter to the meeting, The withdrawal of Abadi and a number of members of his wing within the party after threats and accusations launched by al-Maliki related to the declaration of the war on corruption and the near submission of files of officials in the previous government, which was headed by Maliki for eight years to the judiciary.
    The newspaper added that "the meeting, which was held in the presence of party leaders, witnessed verbal arguments and the rise of the voices of those present after Maliki raised the subject of the diction led by Abadi against him and repeated his former government's accusation of corruption indirectly."
    The newspaper pointed out that "Maliki considered the new campaign of Abadi on corruption is dishonest and aims to overthrow him in the elections, which Abadi categorically denied and stressed that the campaign will include all those involved in corruption without exception since 2003 and until now even if they are ministers and officials in his current government" .
    According to the newspaper, "Abadi withdrew from the meeting with other leaders of the party supports his steps and has already considered the actions and policy of Maliki, the popularity of the Dawa Party within the Iraqi Shiite street."
