The Iranian navy, on Tuesday, during the second day of the fifth joint exercises of the Iranian army under the title "Mohammed Rasool Allah," cruise missile "developed on a target in the Sea of Oman.
The Kadeer missile, with an effective range of 300 km, destroyed a ship for a presumed enemy located at a distance in the sea.
A long-range cruise missile is being tested for the first time by Iran's Islamic Republic's Strategic Marine Corps (ISAF), a fast-paced, low-altitude missile that is resistant to electronic warfare and has high rotational accuracy and precision.
The exercises, named "Muhammad Rasool Allah-5", began Monday (January 22nd) off the coast of Makran and the Strait of Hormuz in the south and southeast of Iran with the participation of naval, air and ground forces. "
The exercises are held near the Strait of Hormuz, which is considered a major conduit for oil transport in the region. The Strait of Hormuz has also witnessed many incidents involving Iranian warships and the US Navy.
