    Information / Baghdad ..
The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee on Thursday called on Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to revive the military industrialization, stressing the availability of cadres and the potential to restore the Iraqi military industry.
"Iraq needs to revive the military industry," said Iskander Tutt, a member of the committee, adding that "all the specialized cadres are there and ready to work again in the military industry."
"The parliament has called for the revival of the military industrial system, but the file has been forgotten for some time not short," he said.
"The material and human resources are available to bring the project back to normal," he said, adding that "this provides Iraq with large sums of money as it can dispense with the import of light weapons and equipment."
He stressed that "Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi bears responsibility for the non-return of military manufacturing, especially with the availability of conditions to restore the production line," explaining that "the military manufacturing personnel were distributed to the ministries and departments of the state, while it was better to reactivate the project and work from new". Ending / 25
