    [ltr]The Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, on Thursday, that the province of Basra will have a large share in investment and projects and the provision of jobs, which confirmed that there is a global trend to support Iraq.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The establishment of security is very important in economic development," he said, adding that "Basra province will have a large share in investment and projects and job creation."[/ltr]
    [ltr]"Basra is an important province and an economic base. There is a global trend to support Iraq and Basra will be one of the most important provinces for which projects are allocated," he said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"We have to impose security while respecting the people of Basra and enforce the law to arrest those wanted," he said. "Iraq is now stronger and more united, and we can rise to economic reality after security is restored."[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Prime Minister, Haidar al-Abadi, said today that there are important projects to be completed in the province of Basra, namely Zubair, Qibla, Al-Hawali, Basra water and many other projects, in addition to providing job opportunities.[/ltr]

    BAGHDAD - 
    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on Thursday that the largest share of the investment will be for Basra first, down to the desire of major international companies, indicating that the security forces that came to Basra is to serve the people.
    Abadi said in a press conference held in Basra and followed by the agency / information / that "we can promote the economic sector in a few years in light of security stability," pointing out that "the largest share of investment will be Basra first at the desire of major international companies."
    He added that "the security forces that came to Basra to serve the people, and there is a media campaign to distort the security image of the province," noting that "the intelligence effort is an important factor in the security process and the law must apply to everyone."
    The Prime Minister Haider Abadi arrived, on Thursday, to Basra and held a meeting with the Operations Command and the provincial council, and stressed when meeting with security leaders on the inventory of weapons by the state.
