, said Chairman of the Justice and Accountability Commission Parliamentary Hisham al - Suhail, Sunday, that the people reserved their money of one million and a half million people, indicating that it has not been confiscated funds of any of these people except the former president and his family were among 52 people. 

Al-Suhail said in an interview with the program "On the table", which is broadcast by Sumerian satellite, that "the people who were reserved for their money and a million and a half million people," asserting that "the money was not confiscated anyone other than Saddam and his family within the 52 people."



Al-Suhail added that "huge numbers are held up their money and the delay that happened is unjustified," pointing out that "what happened from the delay is not originally intended." 

"This is an embodiment of national reconciliation, and a file that was open for 15 years has been closed," he said. "There are excesses of officials on the property, which were disposed of by them and sold at low prices. The law will put an end to this." 

On March 5, 2018, the Accountability and Justice Commission issued two lists, one of which included confiscation of movable and immovable property for 52 members of the former regime and the second seizure of property belonging to 4257 officials during Saddam Hussein's rule . 

Prime Minister Haider Abadi said, That the list of the recent accountability and justice showed no real review on the ground, noting that the Commission deals with duplication in its work.
