MP of the coalition of state law Mansour al-Baiji, on Friday, that the quorum for the meetings of the House of Representatives will not be achieved after today for the upcoming elections scheduled for May 12 next.
"The Presidency of the House of Representatives is weak to deter those who lag behind the sessions of the Council, especially with the survival of less than 60 days to the next election," he said, adding that "since the start of the parliamentary session to this day there are no deterrent penalties for MPs Absent the note that the number of members of the Federal Parliament 328 deputies and the most attendance at the meetings does not exceed the 260 deputies only. "
He added that "some MPs did not see them throughout this session because of their lack of accountability before the presidency of parliament," noting that "the quorum will not be achieved today, near the upcoming elections."
"The oil and gas law did not come from the Council of Ministers to this moment in addition to the Federal Service Law, which was withdrawn by the government because of political problems because of quotas."
