    [ltr]Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi and President of the Gabic Company Heidi Okada on Wednesday discussed investments in the oil sector, especially in the province of Nasiriyah and its increase to 4.5 billion dollars.[/ltr]
    [ltr]A statement from the Prime Minister's Office received a copy of the Mawazine News that "Abadi, received at his residence in the Japanese capital Tokyo, the president of the Gabic company, Heidechi Okada and his party."[/ltr]
    [ltr]The statement added that "the meeting discussed investments in the oil sector, especially in the province of Nasiriyah and increase to 4.5 billion dollars, which will provide employment opportunities for citizens in the province, in addition to the establishment of training centers and development of Iraqi expertise."[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, arrived this morning to the Japanese capital Tokyo on an official visit.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The visit aims at boosting bilateral cooperation in various fields, opening up investment horizons for Japanese companies and attending the Tokyo conference on supporting job creation, vocational training and reducing the circulation of weapons in Iraqi society, according to the Prime Minister's Office.[/ltr]
