Abadi adviser: America will support private sector investments in the Kuwait Conference
The appearance of Mohammed Saleh, economic adviser to Prime Minister Haider Abadi, said that the US participation in the Kuwait conference for the reconstruction of Iraq will be in the form of support for private sector investment in Iraq.
Saleh said he could not confirm or deny US contributions in Iraq, but the presence of the US side still had major considerations at the conference.
"The needs of immediate stability in Iraq are still wide, and the United States alone can not meet all these needs," said an Iraqi economic official who spoke on condition of anonymity. Washington supports Kuwait's conference on the reconstruction of Iraq and continues to work with its government and society to meet the needs of the Iraqi people, the official said.
