    [ltr]Pyongyang has decided to give its timing 30 minutes to coincide with Seoul's local time in a goodwill gesture after the inter-Korean summit on Friday.[/ltr]
    [ltr]North Korea's North Korean leader Kim Jong-un announced at the Panmunjom summit on Sunday, promising to restore the same timing to Seoul, North Korea's official news agency said Monday.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Kim expressed his "determination to unite the two local hours" in a resolution that is "the first practical step of reconciliation and national unity," according to the North Korean agency.[/ltr]
    [ltr]North Korea's parliament on Monday issued a resolution to restore North Korea's own local time with the south from Saturday (May 5th).[/ltr]
    [ltr]Since 2015, the two Koreas do not share the same time. The North suddenly announced that all the hours in the country would be returned to 30 minutes.[/ltr]
