Jubouri cast his vote in the parliamentary electionsParliament speaker Salim al-Jubouri on Saturday voted in the Iraqi parliament's center for Iraqi insurgents in the Green Zone.
"He is optimistic about this day," Jubouri said in a statement on the sidelines of the directors' vote.
On Saturday (12 May 2018), elections were launched in all governorates to select members of the Iraqi Federal Parliament in its fourth legislative session.
