BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Basra residents said on Saturday that the interviews they had entered for the purpose of appointing them in the oil companies were "stupid," noting that the officials in Dhi Qar focused on appointing the youth of their province.
"After I got an interview with an oil company in al-Barjisiya area, a manager from Nasiriyah met with me and took me out and appointed a young man from Nasiriyah instead of me," said Abdul Amir al-Thamri, a reporter for Iraq News.
For his part, said Louay Basri, "Many young people were subjected to injustice during the interview, prior to their appointment in the oil companies."
