The director of the General Company for Communications in the ministry, Nazem Lefth Khashjouri, said in a press statement that his company "has developed over the past few years, the station of landing cables in the Faw, in order to improve the reality of its work, being responsible for the transfer of international Internet capacity to the country.
He added that his company "identified the needs of the station in the form of equipment and communication devices and international capacities to ensure its work capacity production, where the station is currently working with two cables with a capacity of 588 optical transmission units of the stakes, stressing that the development will be compatible with future production capabilities.

At the same level, the newspaper quoted a source in the field of international capacity in the company as saying, "The submarine cables at the station are often subject to the shipments because of the movement of shipping vessels, where the company implements alternative routes until the reforms, in order to equip companies marketing the international sea capacities," stressing that " In the event of any defect or interruption, it requires proactive measures to overcome international capacities in alternative ways to ensure continuity of service.
