    Add trillions of dinars for regional development projects in the general budget

    A member of the Finance Committee Adnan al-Zarfi announced the addition of trillions of dinars for regional development projects in the public budget.
    "The meeting of the Finance Committee with the government team reached the addition of two trillion dinars for development projects of the regions," Zarfi said in an interview on Monday.
    The government of Adel Abdul Mahdi, to borrow from abroad to cover the deficit in the federal budget for the year 2019, which amounted to a total deficit of more than 22 trillion dinars.
