(International: Euphrates News) The Lebanese Health Minister Jamil Jabbak said that a joint hospital agreement will be implemented with the Iraqi Ministry of Health to prevent the repetition of excesses and acts of "fraud" To cancel their contracts with the Ministry.

He revealed that the number of Iraqi patients who received treatment in Lebanese hospitals amounted to 500,000 in 2017, but their number dropped last year to about 250,000 people.

His answer was that Iraqi patients in Lebanon are being subjected to monumental work, and presented me with bills showing fictitious sums of money from these patients. For example, the cost of gallbladder removal for an Iraqi patient was $ 15,000."

The minister spoke of the intention to take measures to protect the hospital sector from abuse.
