(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohamed Halaboussi, a meeting of 38 deputies from the liberated areas.
A source familiar with the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, "a meeting of 38 deputies of the liberated regions of the presidency headed by Halbusi to discuss the formation of the new alliance."
It was announced in Baghdad, last Monday, the disintegration of the alliance, "axis", the largest Sunni Arab political blocs formed mid-last year after the legislative elections, and the formation of a new alliance of deputies of liberated cities in the north and west of the country, while the coalition excluded prominent Sunni figures.
According to a brief statement of the new alliance, "the deputies of the liberated cities announce the solution of the Axis Alliance and the restructuring of the alliance of former Iraqi forces," asserting "the exclusion of Khamis Al-Khanjar and Ahmed Abdullah Jabouri Abu Mazen of the coalition."
"The new formation and the disintegration of the Axis alliance came against the backdrop of members' support for the new governor of Nineveh," a coalition official said.
He stressed that "the new alliance will seek to name Ministers of Defense and Education, two ministries allocated to the Sunni component," noting that the new alliance will challenge the election of the governor of Nineveh.
