A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee Sabah al-Ukaili, on Tuesday, the Presidency of the Parliament to refer the issue of the Presidency of the Commission on Integrity Parliamentary to the Legal Department of the House of Representatives in order to decide.
In a statement to Al-Maalouma, al-Ukaili said that "the deputy of the coalition of construction Ali al-Sijeri got 11 votes while the MP of the reform coalition Ahmed al-Mashhadani received 10 votes."
He added that "the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives requires the Chairman of the Committee two thirds of the votes of the members of the Committee," noting that "the matter referred to the presidency of the Council and its role referred the matter to the legal department in the House of Representatives to decide on the safety of the election of the Chairman of the Committee."
Al-Sagri revealed on Monday the existence of a corruption mafia promoting the re-election of the head of the Parliamentary Integrity Commission and selling it to two corrupts.
