The Sadikoun parliamentary bloc held the former ministers of education responsible for the high repetition rates in the third grade.
"The low level of education, which resulted in a drop of more than 10,000 students in the third grade, has become a new burden on the Iraqi reality," MP Hasan Salim told a news conference.
He added: "If we investigate the issue of the decline, we find that there are several reasons, of these reasons are the ministers who punished the Ministry of Education in previous governments, and to carry the current minister of agency Qusay Suhail," noting that the former ministers bear responsibility and their sole concern is not to raise the level of education, "The main problem within the Ministry of Education is corruption and printing textbooks, in addition to the presence of officials within the ministry, they are in the valley and the educational process in another valley."
He went on to say: "The change of curricula without the presence of advance premises by the Ministry of Education, led to the low educational level and reached the rate of failure in the ranks of the third medium.
